HI! I just found out i am pregnant but am really worried about paying for the prenatal visits. I am a Registered Nurse and know that our health system sucks and is really screwed up. I work full time at a hospital and have insurance through Aetna, however they do not know I am pregnant and neither does my work yet…because I think I am only a few weeks. I am scheduled to get my first prenatal visit on Tuesday but I am not sure if I need to tell my insurance company that I am pregnant before this (I am worried they may not cover the ultrasound or something?) Is there some sort of policy change that needs to take place because I am now pregnant? WIll I probably have to pay my whole 30 copay at each prenatal visit? Any ideas on how you adjusted your insurance policies when you found out you were pregnant, if at all?

I met this really cute guy at work who is 19 years old and in college to be an electrician. I am 16. One night, he randomly started talking to me on facebook, and after about 2 weeks we started texting. He texts me every morning with a “good morning beautiful”, and he tells me I’m cute and that he thinks he’s starting to like me. Here’s the bad thing, he has been with a lot of girls. And I heard that he has cheated before and recently he had sex with a girl that I know from school. He said it was just a hook up and that it didn’t mean anything to him, and that I’m the only girl he flirts with and he insisted that he isn’t a whore. =/ He is really, really, sweet, smart, and he likes all the same things as me, but I’m scared he just wants to use me for sex, which is NOT happening.

Should I expect any symptoms? I feel weak and fever-ish/chills. I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac and I know being online does not help, please let me know if you had this same experience!

Okay so i’m friends with this guy, we’ve known each other for like 2 years. I dated him twice before, and last week he was talking to me and wanted to hang out (pretty much the same way he came onto me the first 2 times we dated) and then my phone broke so i didn’t talk to him for 2 days then on thanksgiving i saw on facebook he kept commenting on her pic saying pretty and mine and stuff like that and this girl who was in a relationship then broke up with her boyfriend that day then they are dating a half hour later and they have dated like 4 times before all of which she cheated on him. Anyways my question is did he go after cause i was ignoring him cause my phone broke? and why would he get back with her if she cheated on him 4 times and then talks crap on him? So confusing…

Unfortunately, I have yet to receive an answer. Standard DNC talking points suggest the entry into two wars. Nope, Obama spent more with his first “stimulus” bill than the entire cost of Iraq, and unemployment numbers still rose.
Those darn Bush Tax cuts? No, don’t think so. Treasury data shows more actual revenue was collected than during Clinton’s 8 years.
Medicare, Part D? Hold it – we may have touched on something here. Entitlement programs, government money, the stuff everyone wants as long as someone else pays for it.
Perhaps one needs to go further back than the Bush years, to the beginning of the progressive movement in America, to analyze exactly what went wrong. Somehow, that bizarre idea that government can provide everything to everyone might just be at the root of our misery.

I’m not saying the Democrats are any better but at least they try to hide it with populist, pro-worker rhetoric.
This isn’t a rant or anything I’m just wondering how a Republican voter could stand watching their candidates advocate policies that benefit major corporations (tax cuts for the rich, “free” trade, eliminating the corporate tax rate, etc) and bash the only policies existing in this country that help the majority of people (social security, medicare, etc). I mean, sure, they take some stances corporations oppose but they never actually implement them when they take power—like anti-immigration.

I recently went off birth control roughly 3 months ago because I was having depression issues. Anyway, the first month off my period came like clockwork but the second month it was 4 days late. My period for this month was due 10 days ago. I’ve had cramping, breast tenderness, headaches, acne, mood swings, the works for the last 2 weeks. My usual signs of my period coming. However it still has not showed and now the symptoms are receding slightly. I just wonder what’s up. I know it can take the body a while to readjust to its normal state but I’m still a little concerned. My bf and I have been intimate in the last few months protected. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests to be sure and both have come back negative so I’m unsure as to what’s going on. Anyone have any input, similar experiences, or advice on the matter? Thanks

I just wanted to know if I should go to School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick campus or School of Environmental and Biological Sciences? Which is better since I want to pursue a career in the medical field specifically a dentist?

I just noticed the beginning symptoms of a cold this morning, and I’m really worried I’ll lose my sense of taste by Saturday because I’m going to a party so I really want to be able to taste food! Will I have lost my sense of taste by then and is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
