HI! I just found out i am pregnant but am really worried about paying for the prenatal visits. I am a Registered Nurse and know that our health system sucks and is really screwed up. I work full time at a hospital and have insurance through Aetna, however they do not know I am pregnant and neither does my work yet…because I think I am only a few weeks. I am scheduled to get my first prenatal visit on Tuesday but I am not sure if I need to tell my insurance company that I am pregnant before this (I am worried they may not cover the ultrasound or something?) Is there some sort of policy change that needs to take place because I am now pregnant? WIll I probably have to pay my whole 30 copay at each prenatal visit? Any ideas on how you adjusted your insurance policies when you found out you were pregnant, if at all?

I’m on my parents’ health insurance right now only because I was living in the house & going to school & that’s going to be ending at the end of this month.
So I’m wondering, what’s a good, affordable health insurance that has a low deductible, a dental plan, covers the CVS MinuteClinics (though I guess I can live without that), they cover 80%, I cover 20%, & HOPEFULLY no more than $60 a month?

I’m about to take a job as nanny from a family in the town over from where I live with my parents currently. I am 18 years old and will be graduating high school early this December and going to college this coming January as a part-time student.
My question is if whether or not my parents can keep me on their health insurance since I will be moved out from under their roof, making my own money and going to college in January.
